Description

This is a pair of mid-19th century buildings located on Norman Road, St Leonards. They are stuccoed and feature a parapet and cornice. The buildings are three storeys high with an attic, and are four windows wide. The windows are sash windows with moulded architraves. The first floor has cornices supported by consoles. There are two-storey canted bays on the left and right sides of the building. The ground floor has two mid-19th century shop fronts with pilasters, fascias, flush-panelled reveals, and large-pane windows. A balcony runs across the first floor; the section at number 66 has cast iron balustrade with gothic intersecting arches, while that at number 68 has later 19th-century cast ironwork. There are two flat-roofed dormers in the attic. Nos 64 to 74 (even) form a group, with numbers 64, 70, and 72 of local interest only.
