Description

No. 14 West Hill Road is a building dated 1832, designed by James Burton. It is stuccoed with a low-pitched gable-ended roof featuring wide eaves and slate covering. The structure has two storeys, an attic, and a semi-basement, and it is five bays wide. The left side of the building projects slightly and features a gable with the date 1832, along with a wide canted bay on the ground floor. To the right, there is one window, and above it, another storey with a half-hipped roof. The windows are two-light casements set in chamfered reveals, some of which have drip-moulds. On the far left, there is a large wooden bay added in the later 19th century. The building has rendered chimney stacks. Nos. 14 to 24 form a group.
