Description

West Hill Court is a house dating to around 1840. It is constructed of stone with brick detailing, originally with a stucco finish, though this has now been removed. The building has wide eaves and gables with decorative bargeboards, finials, and pendants, and features a new interlocking tiled roof. It is two storeys high with a basement.

The south front is three bays wide, with two projecting gabled bays, one on the left which features a stuccoed canted bay window. Ground-floor windows have dripmoulds and chamfered reveals, and some windows are set back. The right-hand return has a stuccoed gabled porch with finials, a four-centred arch, and diagonal buttresses. Basement area railings are present.

A north-west wing has a low, wide gable with shaped and pierced bargeboards and a two-storeyed stuccoed canted bay window.

West Hill Court forms a group with the even-numbered properties 14 to 24 on West Hill.
