Description
West Lodge is a lodge built around 1840. It is constructed of brick and features a hipped roof covered with fish scale slate. The building has two storeys. The entrance front includes a plinth, a plain brick string course, raised brick quoins, and wide bracketed eaves. There are semi-circular rubbed brick arches over semi-circular headed sash windows that have glazing bars. To the left, there is a one bay, two-storey hipped projection, while the right side has two bays that are recessed. A one-storey projecting brick porch with two semi-circular openings and raised brick quoins leads to a 19th-century four-panelled entrance door topped with a semi-circular fanlight.
