Description
Park Lodge is a mid-19th century lodge that now serves as the clubhouse for Bearwood Golf Club. It has been extended in the 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick with contrasting white brick dressings and features a hipped slate roof. It has a parallel ridge plan with a similar-style extension on the north side. The lodge is a single storey and includes a projecting plain eaves cornice made of white brick, wide bracketed eaves, and one large chimney on each ridge with offset heads.
On the entrance front, to the left, there is a segmental bay that contains three two-light casements with red and white rubbed brick heads and key blocks, along with alternating bands of contrasting brick on the quoins. To the right, there is an enclosed arcaded porch entrance consisting of four bays, which returns one bay on the east front. This porch features semi-circular contrasting brick arches and a square pier made of similar material at the corner.
