Description

Mid 19th century. Single storey, 4-bay lodge with modern, projecting block to outer left. White-painted harl with ashlar sandstone margins and dressings (modern brick for addition); rusticated quoins. Projecting eaves, exposed rafters. Bracketted cills.

S ELEVATION: modern gabled bay to outer left. Depressed arched door to left of original lodge; decorative, bargeboarded bracketted canopy porch; 4-panelled door; window to left. Canted window to right; piended roof. Window to outer right.

Plate glass sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; circular, corniced ridge stacks on pedestals, octagonal cans.
