Description

Mole Bridge Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse, later extended in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of brick with a gabled roof covered in old tiles. The house is two storeys and has an attic, with chimneys positioned on either side. A string course runs along the first floor, and the eaves are decorated with brick dentils. The front of the house has two bays, featuring leaded casement windows: the upper windows are two-light, and the lower windows are three-light. A glazed central door is set within a doorcase consisting of Doric pilasters, an entablature with roundels in the frieze, and a pediment. The remaining facades are irregular in appearance. A large 20th-century extension has been added to the right-hand side and is not considered to be of special architectural interest.
