Description
Sandford Mill House is a mill house that has been converted into a residence. It dates from the 18th century and has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of painted brick and features hipped roofs covered with old tiles, forming an L-shape. It stands two storeys tall and has brick dentil eaves along with irregular chimneys.
On the west front, there are three bays with upper three-pane sash windows, while the ground floor has outer four-pane sashes. All windows are fitted with 20th-century louvred shutters. The central entrance features a door set within a 20th-century porch that has plain columns and a flat hood with a moulded cornice.
