Description

The lych gate from the drive to the Royal Mausoleum in Frogmore Grounds was designed by Humbert am Gruner and built around 1862 to 1871. It features an ashlar Romanesque style with a triple arcade on each side, which rises from the sill and includes large arched entrances. The roof is low and gabled, sheathed in copper, and has a bellcot on the west gable.
