Description
The lych gate to the churchyard, built in 1885, features a combination of rock-faced stone and ashlar with a timber superstructure and a red tile roof. It is supported by paired stepped angle buttresses and has a 3-light opening on each side, which includes moulded colonnettes and a chamfered lintel. Wooden corbels support the arch, and the structure has a wagon roof. A brass inscribed panel on the wall-plate indicates that the gate was erected by the children of the Reverend Edward Lawson in memory of their father.
