Description
The footbridge into the walled garden and the attached wall were built around 1825. The footbridge is made of tooled-and-margined ashlar and features a segmental arch with an arch ring. It has low parapets with gabled coping that end in piers topped with pyramidal caps. The wall, constructed of brick, runs south from the bridge and then returns east along the south side of the garden. Near the west end of this wall section, there is a gateway with brick piers and flat stone caps.
