Description

The bridge from the island leading to the Duchess of Kent's Mausoleum was built around 1861. It features a single elliptical arch made of rock-faced stone with voussoirs. The bridge has an ashlar balustraded parapet that sweeps out at the ends. It was designed to complement the terraced steps of the mausoleum.
