Description
Nos 33 to 37 on Victoria Street are a row of two-storey buildings constructed around 1830, primarily made of stock brick, with No 37 featuring a stucco facade. The buildings have a parapet with coping. Each of the first floors has two windows, with Nos 33 and 35 retaining their original glazing bar sashes. The shop fronts are located at Nos 33 and 37. No 33 includes a small window set in a panelled architrave, a later fascia, and a round-headed doorway with a fanlight. No 37 features a pilaster-framed window with three sets of three panes, a frieze, and a cornice, along with a glazed and panelled door that has quarter pilasters. No 35 has one glazing bar sash on the ground floor and a four-panel door topped with a semi-circular fanlight. These buildings are included for their group interest, as they are part of a larger ensemble from Nos 17 to 45 on the street.
