BRAY OCKWELLS ROAD SU 87 NE (south side, off) 9/14 Barn and horse engine threshing house, at Lillibrook Manor G.V. II

Barn and horse engine threshing house. The threshing house is now disused. C18, with threshing house added C19. Timber frame, weatherboarded, old tile roof, half-hipped on barn, gabled on midstrey, hipped on threshing house. Rectangular plan of 9 framed bays, aisle, 2 midstreys, in 3rd and 6th bays; canted, open-sided, framed threshing house between midstreys; all on east front. Interior: queen post roof trusses, remainder of frame altered to accommodate grain storage silos. Threshing house has posts braced to roof plates, centre post and radiating rafters. Included for group value.
