Description

The cartshed located in the center of the fold yard at Heywood's Farm dates from the mid-18th century and has been altered in the 20th century. It features a timber frame consisting of three bays, which now has brick infill. The roof is half-hipped and covered with old tiles, while the gables are adorned with weatherboarding. The west front of the building includes a central plank entrance door flanked by a three-light window on either side. This structure is included for its group value.
