Description

Waltham Grange is an early 19th-century vicarage, now a house, situated on Waltham Road, White Waltham. The building is constructed of brick with a low-pitched slate roof. It is square in plan, with a former service wing extending to the right. The property has three storeys and features three chimneys with offset heads and clay pots. A panelled eaves soffit runs around the building. Windows are sash windows with glazing bars, set within gauged brick heads. The service wing windows are a mix of sashes and casements, all with glazing bars. The north front, which serves as the entrance front, is symmetrical, with three bays. The first floor windows are larger than those below. A 20th-century six-panel entrance door, flanked by leaded pane windows, sits beneath a flat hood supported by brackets with a moulded cornice. The lower former service wing on the right has an irregular arrangement of windows.
