Description
The dovecote at Ockwells Manor is a late 15th-century structure made of brick, featuring stone buttresses and dressings. It has an old tiled conical roof topped with an open turret and a weathervane. The building has a circular plan and is supported by four two-stage weathered buttresses made of both stone and brick. On the southeast side, there is a two-light leaded casement window with a brick relieving arch and keystone. The southwest side features an old plank door set in a chamfered ashlar stone surround. Inside, there is a boarded floor located halfway up, which can be accessed by a plain wooden staircase.
