Description
The stable block, dating from the late 18th century, is located approximately 150 metres to the east of Donnington Grove. It is constructed of brick and features an old tile roof, which includes four 20th-century dormers and one 18th-century dormer with a Gothick window. The building is designed in an L-plan and is 1½ storeys high.
On the south front, there is a central bay that projects forward, featuring an arched entrance and a quatrefoil in the tympanum above. Above this, there is a quatrefoil in the crow stepped gable. To the right of the entrance, there are two arched windows, while to the left, there are two pairs of garage doors and a central door. The façade includes a string course and a battlemented parapet.
To the left, there is a block that projects out, which has a recessed brick arch, a string course, and a quatrefoil in the crow stepped gable end. The return wall features two pairs of garage doors and a 19th-century iron and glass porch.
