Description

Donnington Dene is an early 19th-century house. It is constructed of red brick with grey headers, and has a hipped slate roof with two chimney stacks. The house is two storeys high and has three bays, featuring glazing bar sashes. The central entrance has a half-glazed door with a reeded architrave and a bracketted shallow triangular pediment. Walter Money, a local Newbury historian, was born at Donnington Dene in 1836.
