Description

Wessex Home is an early to mid-19th century villa, built after 1837. It stands two storeys tall and features a double-fronted design with three bays. The building has a hipped slate roof with rendered stacks and is constructed of stucco. The ground floor is rusticated, and the windows are architraved sash types with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are French windows set in arched recesses. The entrance features an architraved doorway with panelled double doors. A cast-iron trellis verandah extends across part of the building, topped with a tented canopy.
