Description

No 24, known as The Lawn, is a late 18th-century building, constructed after 1768. Originally three storeys tall, the top floor was removed around 1938. There are late 19th-century and 20th-century additions to the rear and sides of the building. The original front features five windows and a slightly projecting three-bay centre, made of multi-coloured stock brick. The building has a modern parapet and gauged flat red brick arches above the architraved sash windows, which include glazing bars. A prostyle Tuscan portico is present, along with a round-arched doorway that has a radial fanlight and a panelled door.
