Description
Cannon House is a late 18th-century building located on the north side of London End in Beaconsfield. It is constructed of red brick, with some areas colourwashed in red and the ground floor pointing painted. The building has three storeys and five bays. The ground floor features two tripartite windows, a central door with a fanlight that has geometrical glazing bars, and a doorcase adorned with Tuscan pilasters and an entablature, complete with a lampholder above. There are also two sash windows on this level. The first and second floors each have five sash windows, with the first-floor windows being taller and having a stone course at sill level.
To the left of the main structure is a 2½-storey addition, also of brick, topped with a tiled roof that includes two dormer windows. The ground floor of this addition has a carriage entrance with modern wrought iron gates and a tiled canted bay window, while the first floor contains two sash windows. To the right, there is a single-storeyed section featuring a tiled 19th-century canted bay window.
