Description

31 Lairgate is a late 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall, constructed of red brick. The top storey was added in the late 19th century. The facade features five windows, which are hung sashes with glazing bars, while the top floor has only two windows with plate glass. The central entrance is highlighted by a wooden doorcase that includes an architrave, a frieze with a central tablet, and a dentil pediment. The door itself has six fielded panels and is topped with a divided fanlight. The building is capped with a pantile roof and has an eaves board.
