Description

49 Saturday Market is a building likely from the 18th century that has been altered. It stands three storeys tall, constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. The building features moulded stone coping with a plain course above and a fluted lead rainwater head. On the upper floors, there are two windows with near flush frames and no glazing bars, topped with painted stone or rendered rusticated heads. The ground floor has a late 19th-century shop front that includes modern glazing.
