Description
Kiln Cottage is a cottage dating from the mid-17th century. It features a timber frame with angle braces and brick nogging, with a rendered wall on the west side and some flint at the rear. The roof is half hipped and covered with old tiles, including a partial catslide over an outshot to the west, and there is an off-centre ridge stack located towards the south. The cottage comprises three framed bays and stands two storeys tall. The east front has two first-floor three-light leaded casements and two ground-floor three-light leaded casements flanking a central 20th-century boarded door, which is sheltered by a 20th-century hipped timber porch.
