Description
The Royal Oak Inn is an early 18th-century building, likely constructed with a timber frame and featuring rear tile-hanging. It has two gabled dormers and three windows on the ground floor, along with a door. The inn is 1½ storeys tall, topped with an old tile roof and has end chimneys with external stacks. A modern extension has been added to the south. The front, which dates from the later 18th century, has been altered and is made of brick, standing two storeys high. It includes a brick block cornice and an external chimney on the right side. On the first floor, there are two five-light casement windows, while the ground floor features a segmental-headed door, a large modern window to the right, and the modern extension to the left.
