Description

Yardley Cottage is an early to mid-18th century cottage that has been altered. It stands two storeys tall and is constructed of stucco with a brick block cornice and an old tile roof. The cottage features one range of 20th-century casement windows and a porch on the right-hand side. At the rear, there is a catslide roof. The gable end faces the road and includes an external chimney. This building is noted as a surviving example of the former hamlet of Armour-Tilehurst.
