Description
Hallplace Farmhouse and Hallplace Farm Cottage is a farmhouse that has been converted into two houses. It dates from the late 16th century and early 17th century, with 20th-century refacing and additions to the rear. The building features a rendered timber frame with rendered brick additions and has an old tile roof. There is a stack located in front of the ridge, slightly off-centre to the right, as well as an end stack and a gabled cross wing to the left. The rear has three 20th-century gables and three stacks. The structure consists of four framed bays and is two storeys tall.
On the first floor, there are three 20th-century three-light casement windows, two of which are leaded and positioned to the right, with a small leaded casement window between the first and second from the right. The ground floor features three 20th-century three-light casement windows, two of which are leaded and have segmental heads. There is a four-panelled door with glazed upper panels, a segmental head, and a 19th-century gabled timber porch with decorated barge boards situated between the first and second windows from the left.
