Description

26 Armour Hill is a 17th-century cottage that has been altered and modernised. It is a one-and-a-half storey building with a thatched roof. The exterior is rendered, likely over a timber frame. To the north, there is a large catslide roof that incorporates a bread oven, along with a two-storey extension on the right. The cottage is accessed from the east through a thatched porch, which has a window above it. This building is noted for being a remnant of the old hamlet of Armour-Tilehurst.
