Description

The barn at North Stanmore Farm is a 19th-century structure built from brick and features a half hipped tiled roof. It has 12 bays that run from east to west and includes a lean-to on the eastern end. The barn is aisled and has entries located in the fourth and ninth bays. The entries are covered by hipped cantilever roofs and have ventilation slots, with buttresses on the north side. Inside, the barn has a double clasped purlin roof with knee timbers positioned between the ties to create trusses.
