Description
The railings, gate, and wall located approximately 3 metres north of Montpelier House were built in the 19th century. They are made of cast iron and are set on a brick wall. The structure is about 10 metres long and separates the garden from the road. It features a low brick wall topped with rails and dog rails that have a fleur de lis pattern, along with urn standards. The central gate is mounted on hanger panels with semi-circular tops that incorporate a design of crosses, circles, and spearheads.
