Description
Lower Farm House is a house that dates back to the 17th century, with a refronting in the late 18th century and alterations made in the 20th century. The building features brickwork on the west side, using grey headers and red stretchers, while the south gable is made of squared chalk with brick bands. The north gable is constructed from flint and brick, with brick extensions and tiled roofs. The house is designed in an L shape, with the main block running north to south. It has two storeys, with an end stack on the north side and a stack at the junction of the L shape.
On the west elevation, there are three-light leaded casement windows with rubbed brick flat arches, which flank a central four-panel door that is sheltered by a flat hood supported by iron brackets.
