Description

Montpelier House is an 18th-century house located on the south side of Broad Street, East Ilsley. It is constructed of painted brick with a tiled roof, and has a roughly L-shaped plan. The north elevation features two glazing bar sash windows in exposed frames, flanking a centrally located opening that is partially blocked with a two-light metal casement. A 20th-century replacement glazing installation forms a canted bay window to the right of the ground floor. A central entrance is marked by a six-panel door with glazed top panels. A chimney is positioned at the east end of the building.
