Description
Knights Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse that has been converted into a restaurant. It was extended in the mid-19th century and altered in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of brick with vitreous headers and features an old tile gabled roof. It has an L-plan layout with an extension at the rear, standing two storeys high with attics and flanking chimneys. The structure includes a brick plinth, a string course, and a moulded wood cyma eaves cornice. There are three small hipped dormers and a slightly off-centre three-bay front that is positioned to the right. The windows are sash with glazing bars, with the centre bay being narrower. The ground floor features a tripartite window arrangement, along with a late 20th-century gabled glazed entry porch and a half-glazed panelled door.
