Description

Old Mill House is a house dating to circa 1840. It is constructed of red brick with a hipped slate roof. The house has two storeys and three bays, featuring gauged brick heads to the windows, a plaster plat band, a moulded wooden eaves cornice, and an end stack to the right. The windows are glazing bar sashes. The central doorway has a six-panelled door with a segmental radial fanlight, and is protected by a porch with unfluted Doric columns and a full entablature. A lower, two-storey addition, also of brick with a hipped slate roof, is located to the right. This addition includes blocked first and ground floor windows, and a 20th-century cross window to the left. The south front has four bays.
