Description

This is a late 16th and 17th century house, with 20th-century additions. The house is timber framed with angle braces and white painted brick nogging, with areas of partial brick refacing and some first-floor tile hanging to the south. It has an old tile roof. The building is in an "L" shape, with two framed bays to the north and a two-bay gabled cross wing to the south.

The east front has a 20th-century rectangular bay with a pentice roof to the right. A ridge stack is positioned off-centre to the right and there is an end stack to the right. The first floor has two 2-light leaded casement windows to the left and one 3-light leaded casement to the right. Two ground floor 5-light leaded casements are to the right, and a 20th-century recessed porch with a door is to the left. The central first floor has a 2-light diamond leaded casement flanked by two one-light diamond leaded casements, within the cross wing to the left, with two ground floor 3-light diamond leaded casements below. A 5-light diamond leaded casement is in a small lean-to to the left. A one-storey 20th-century garage block sits to the left.
