Description

12 and 14 New Lane Hill are likely late 17th century, two-storey timber-framed cottages with thatched roofs. They feature a central chimney and hipped roofs, with lean-to extensions on either side. The cottages have painted brick infill and four ranges of two and three-light casement windows. The doors are ledged and both the doors and windows on the ground floor have small wooden hoods. Inside, the ceilings on the ground floor are low. The cottages have undergone some modernization before the war.
