Description

This barn, located approximately 60 meters west of Home Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, featuring a brick plinth and weatherboarding, and has a slate roof. The barn consists of seven framed bays with aisles and includes gabled wagon entries on the north and south sides in the second and sixth bays. Inside, the barn has a double purlin roof supported by windbraces, as well as stepped double queen post trusses with both transverse and longitudinal bracing.
