Description
Milestone, dating from around 1800. It is made of white painted stone with black lettering. The milestone has a semi-circular section with a square base. It is inscribed on the south side with "TO WALLINGFORD 10" and on the north side with "TO BASINGSTOKE 16". The base is inscribed with "TO OXFORD 23".
