Description

This is a late 17th-century cottage with 19th-century alterations and additions. It is timber-framed and has a later white painted brick facade. The roof is tiled, with an end stack to the left and a large stack with a toothed brick cap at the rear. A large gabled eaves dormer has a 3-light casement window positioned off-centre to the right. The cottage originally had two framed bays, with later additions to the rear. The building is one storey high with an attic. On the ground floor are two 3-light 19th-century casement windows with boarded shutters, flanking a central 2-light 20th-century casement window. A boarded front door is located between the first and second windows from the right, sheltered by a 20th-century gabled porch.
