Description

Fernbrook, now offices, was built around 1830. The house is rendered with a prominent horizontal band. It has a hipped slate roof with two ridge stacks positioned off-centre to the left and right. The two-storey, three-bay facade features glazing bar sashes, with the ground-floor window on the left being blank. The central entrance has two half-glazed doors with margin lights, a reeded architrave decorated with paterae, and a radial fanlight above. A porch with unfluted Roman Doric columns supporting an entablature shelters the entrance.
