Description

Old Forge Cottage is a cottage that was originally a forge, dating from the 17th or 18th century. It is constructed of brick and features a thatched hipped roof. A brick chimney is located to the left of the center of the building. The cottage is one storey with an attic. On the right side, there is a cambered headed casement window, with a simple modern porch opposite the chimney. To the far left, there are two modern casement windows and a ledged door to the right of them. A gabled dormer is positioned to the right, and there are two casements with thatch that sweeps around to the left.
