Description
Lower Poughley is a house built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick, featuring grey headers and red stretchers, and has old tile roofs. The building has an irregular plan with several sections and stands two storeys high with an attic. The front elevation has double gables connected by a short pitch, and there is a chimney at the apex of the left gable. On the ground floor, there are three casements that are irregularly spaced, each with cambered heads. A gabled porch with an arched entry leads to a six-panel door located off centre to the right. The first floor has three irregular casements, each with slightly arched heads, and there are two casements in the attic.
