Description

Grove Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th and 18th centuries. It features a timber frame encased in brick, with a thatched roof and brick stacks. The building is 1½ storeys high and has a six-window range with English bond brickwork. At the left end and in the center, there are 20th-century glazed doors between the windows. The windows are 20th-century oak-framed casements, with three and four lights. Above all but the right window, there are large eyebrow dormers with similar casements. The gables show the exposed frame, and the roof is half-hipped with ridge stacks located at either end and to the left of the center.
