Description

Newhouse Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century and mid 18th century. It features a timber frame with mathematical tiles and brick gables, topped with an old plain tiled roof. The building is two stories high with five bays and has a central front door made up of eight panels, which is top glazed and constructed from 20th-century timber. There is a Regency style flat-roofed porch. On either side of the door, there are two flush framed sash windows that were altered in the 19th century. Above these, there are five flush framed 12-pane sash windows and a dentilled cornice. The farmhouse also has external brick stacks at either end.
