Description

The Church of St Mary is a church built in 1851, designed by architect Thomas Talbot Bury. It is constructed of flint with Bath stone dressings and features slate roofs. The building has gable parapets with stone cappings and includes a nave, chancel, and a north aisle. Notably, there is a small octagonal spire that is asymmetrically positioned to the north of the west end. The church has three plain two-light decorated windows with stone tracery, which are situated under drip moulds, as well as three-light windows at the east end. Inside, the nave consists of three bays supported by pointed arches on octagonal piers, and there are sedilia and a piscina located in the chancel.
