Description

17 The Broadway is an early to mid-19th century shop building that stands three storeys tall and features two windows. It has a slate roof and is constructed of grey-red brick. The building includes a stucco cornice and blocking course, along with plain bands at each floor level. The recessed sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with gauged, flat red brick arches. The returns of the building have weatherboarded gables. The shopfront is double and includes an entablature with a fascia that is flanked by console-brackets.
