Description
21 The Broadway is a building originally designed as a pair of houses around 1830, now functioning as a single structure. It stands three storeys tall and is constructed of red brick, topped with a ripped slate roof and featuring an eaves cornice. There are painted string courses above the ground and first floors. The building has three sash windows, most of which retain their glazing bars. The ground floor and the center of the first floor feature round-headed windows. A round-headed recessed doorway is set within arcading, complete with semi-circular fanlights and six-panelled doors. Number 21 includes a two-storey extension that matches the original style and has one sash window.
