Description

56 The Broadway is a 17th-century house that has been converted into offices. It features a timber frame with a rendered exterior and a plaster string course above the first-floor windows. The roof is made of old tiles and consists of two parallel ranges with gables. The front of the building has glazing bar sash windows. There is a stack on the ridge to the left and another at the rear of the left-hand bay. The building is two storeys tall with an attic and includes two 20th-century shop fronts and three 20th-century casement windows on the first floor.
