Description
This is an early 19th century pair of semi-detached villas, located on London Road. The villas are three storeys high, with two windows each, and a bay of blank windows between the properties. Recessed, two-story sections with one window each served as former entrance extensions. The roofs are hipped slate with projecting eaves and brick stacks. The facades are stuccoed, with a rusticated ground floor and a plain band at the first floor level. The windows are recessed sash windows with glazing bars; number 75 features a mid-19th century splayed bay window on the ground floor. The entrances were moved from the extensions to the outer bays in the mid-19th century. Porticoes are present, featuring cornices and blocking courses.
